Stage 3 — Moulding Cutting
All moulding cutting is carried out using precision mitre saws to ensure perfectly angled corner cuts. French moulding frames require four perfectly mitred corners per frame — any imprecision in the mitre angle creates a visible gap at the corner that significantly undermines the quality of the installation.
Our team cuts each piece individually — measuring each wall run precisely and cutting to exact length with correctly angled mitre cuts at both ends. For rooms where walls are not perfectly square — common in many Pakistani properties — our team adjusts corner angles accordingly to ensure tight, gap-free joints.
Stage 4 — Moulding Fixing
Moulding is fixed to the wall surface using high-quality decorative moulding adhesive — applied carefully and evenly to the back of each piece. Each piece is pressed firmly into position against the wall — checked for alignment with the layout marks and with adjacent pieces — and held in place until the adhesive achieves sufficient grip.
For larger or heavier moulding profiles, or for wall surfaces where adhesive alone may not provide sufficient long-term hold, small finishing nails or pins may be used in addition to adhesive — placed at inconspicuous positions and filled flush for painting.
Stage 5 — Corner & Joint Finishing
The quality of a French moulding installation is most visible at corners and joints:
Mitred corners are checked for tightness — any minor gap is filled with fine decorating filler, sanded smooth, and left ready for painting
Corner rosettes and decorative corner pieces are fitted precisely at each frame corner where the design calls for them

Joining pieces on long moulding runs are fitted at planned positions, mitred cleanly, and filled at the join line
Stage 6 — Surface Preparation for Painting
French moulding installations are typically painted after fitting — either in the same colour as the surrounding wall or in a contrasting colour. Before handover, our team:
Fills all nail holes, mitre gaps, and minor surface imperfections with fine decorating filler
Sands all filled areas smooth and flush with the moulding surface
Cleans dust and debris from all moulding surfaces and the surrounding wall area
Leaves the installation in a clean, paint-ready condition
